Genesis

PM shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Ottapalam is one of the three PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalayas of Palakkad district in Kerala. It is a full fledged, three section school in the rural sector situated in a serene environment, at a distance of 2kms from the Shoranur -Palakkad highway, in the backdrop of the river Nila.

As envisioned in the National Education Policy, academics, sports and co-curricular activities are evenly matched in this institution which has won accolades in all the three areas since its inception in 1986.The Vidyalaya offers a template for the complete education of its students which includes inculcation of moral values, formation of good habits and development of creative & critical thinking.
